Angel Hynes, a 9th grade student at Hoke County High School, has won second place in the Graphic Design contest at the North Carolina State Fair.  Hynes, who is currently enrolled in a Microsoft Excel and Access class, had expressed an interest in graphic design and when this opportunity presented itself she was quick to present her creation to her teacher, Anita Grove.  Hynes won in the High School (grades 9-10 ) category.  Her entry, based around the theme of "A healthy forest is a happy forest," was judged on the quality of its concept, design, creativity, and innovation.  Congratulations to Angel Hynes!
