Seniors at SandHoke Early College High School took the next step in their lives as they walked across the stage last Friday night.  The class of 52 graduates received their high school diplomas, with 44 of those also receiving an associate’s degree.  Those who did not receive an associate’s degree left the program with transferrable college credits.  The intent is for graduates of the dual-program, offered through a partnership between Hoke County Schools and Sandhills Community College, to complete the program in five years, however, some graduates completed the program in only four years.  Graduate of the Year Zakyree Wallace spoke to the fourth graduating class of SandHoke about life after graduation, encouraging them to “take the reins of our lives and never let go.”
