What Does the Behavior Support Team Do?
- Individualized Support: We create personalized behavior plans to meet each child’s unique needs.
- Positive Behavior Strategies: We teach and reinforce positive behavior in the classroom and at home.
- Collaboration: We partner with teachers, parents, and specialists to provide comprehensive support.
- Crisis Intervention: We help students through emotional or behavioral challenges with immediate and thoughtful intervention.
Tips for Parents:
- Stay consistent with rules and expectations at home.
- Reinforce positive behaviors with praise and rewards.
- Communicate regularly with your child's teachers and the BST team.
