On-boarding
Welcome to Hoke County Schools! If you have been offered a position with Hoke County Schools you should expect to receive an email from our automated on-boarding system with instructions for completing your new hire paperwork online.
If you have not received an email, please contact the Hoke County Schools Human Resources office. Some of the required forms from the automated on-boarding system can be completed and submitted online. The following forms that require a physical signature will need to be downloaded and completed to be turned in during your new hire appointment:
- Federal Tax Form (W4)
- State Tax Form (NC-4)
- I-9
- Direct Deposit Form (must bring a voided check)
- Employee's Record of Aggregate State Service
- Health Exam Certificate
- New Hire Reporting Form
- Application for NC Teaching License and Verification of Experience Forms (if needed)
- Benefits Information (if applicable)
New Hire Appointment
Once you have been offered a position with our district, you should expect an e-mail from our automated on-boarding system. If you did not receive the automated e-mail, please contact Hoke County Schools Human Resources Department at (910) 875-3658 to request a New Hire Packet and to schedule your New Hire Appointment.
Please bring the following to the New Hire Appointment:
- Identification Card (Drivers License)
- Social Security Card
- Completed new hire paperwork from the automated system to include:
- Federal Tax Form (W4)
- State Tax Form (NC-4)
- I-9
- Direct Deposit Form- Please bring a voided check
- Employee's Record of Aggregate State Service
- Health Exam Certificate (Required prior to official start date)
- New Hire Reporting Form
- Application for NC Teaching License and Verification of Experience Forms (if needed)
- Benefits Information (if applicable)
During your New Hire Appointment you will also receive your Hoke County Schools official ID card.
