• Dear Parents,

    If your student stated on their Freshman 2023 application for SandHoke Early College High School that they will not have completed Math 1/ Alg 1 on or prior to June 1, 2023. Please read below:
     
    We do not provide the Math 1 EOC testing and therefore do not offer Math 1 here at SHECHS. All incoming freshman's have to have Math 1 completed and have taken the NC EOC Math 1 exam or equivalent.
     
    Some parents have reached out in regards to how their student may get Math 1 or Alg 1, if their school does not provide it. 
     
    We had a student last year use Study.Com. We are not aware of what the registration process entails but if you are interested please go to Study.Com, click on High School and select Algebra 1.
