The first step is to get approval for your field trip from the right people. These people could include (but are not limited to) your Principal, an Executive Director, an Assistant Superintendent, the Superintendent, and/or the Board of Education.
If you want your field trip to have the best chance at being approved, be sure to include all information on the following form in the manner in which it is asked. For example, if a question asks you for someone's name and you do not provide it, you request may not be approved.
Finally, for trip with a destination further away than 50 miles, you should print off a copy of the turn-by-turn directions that you will use when traveling to your destination and include them with the submitted form. If you do not include a copy of your travel directions, your request may not be approved. Popular choices for this step include Mapquest and Google Maps.
Use the form below to generate your Field Trip Approval Request and Detailed Agenda (if required). After completion, check your email inbox for the completed form to print.
You will need to submit the printed request (include a detailed agenda of activities), a tentative roster of students, and your travel directions (if needed) to the Superintendent for approval.
Once your form is submitted and you have received approval, you can proceed to step two.
Note: Only Hoke County Schools employees will see the form below. If you are an employee and are having trouble seeing the form, you can access it directly using this link: Hoke County Schools Field Trip Approval Request.
