SandHoke Battle of the Books team
SandHoke Battle of the Books team won Regionals and brought home 2nd in the State Battle of the Books competition in Durham. At the end of the competition, there was a tie between SandHoke and Durham. Our Lions fell short by ONE question and brought home the 2nd place trophy. Congrats, Lions!

Academic Growth Award
SandHoke Early College High School exceeded the goal of expected academic progress for students with an 8.99% growth during the 2021-22 school year.

SandHoke Early College High School achieved an outstanding graduation rate of 97.9% during the 2021-22 school year.

Please remember Senior PICS is on August 9th in Johnson Hall. Appt required. Be on time for your appt. Remember there is no sitting fee for just a senior portrait. For the various senior photos with different outfits and poses it is 25$ sitting fee.

Senior trip to SCC main campus will be August 8th, the departure time from SH 8:30 a.m.

Project IndigeCHOICE is a five-year United States Department of Education grant, awarded to the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina to serve American Indian students. Parents must go to the link to sign up their students.

Parents SHECHS is participating in a Youth Risk Behavior Survey this month and we ask that all students participate so we can best assess the safety and well-being of our students and make improvements where the survey guides us. Part of Student Success is students feeling safe in their learning environment. If you do not wish your student to participate, please click on the link to complete the form required for students to opt out of participating in the survey. Thank you.
