Hoke County Schools Adopts Recently Approved Parents' Bill of Rights

Dr. Rodney Shotwell Named Interim Superintendent
The Hoke County Board of Education announced during a special called meeting on Friday, June 30 that Dr. Rodney Shotwell would serve as the district’s Interim Superintendent beginning July 1.

HCS Named Purple Star District
Hoke County Schools received the District Level Purple Star Award for all schools being military-friendly. The Purple Star designation is awarded to schools that demonstrate military-friendly practices and a commitment to military students and families.

Back-To-School Immunization Requirements
Make sure your student is up-to-date on their vaccinations. Click here to review the required immunization information and check with their primary care physician to make sure they have all of the immunizations they need.

Apply now for PreK!
We are now accepting applications for the Hoke County Pre-K Program for the 2023-24 year. To apply, a child must be four years old by August 31, 2023 and a Hoke County resident. Click here for additional information.

Kindergarten Registration Is Now Open
To register for kindergarten, the child must be 5 years of age on or before August 31, 2023 and you will need 1) Certified birth certificate, 2) Immunization record, 3)Proof of residence (current mortgage statement/rental contract and current electric/water bill and current identification). You can register face-to-face at the school in your child's attendance zone - OR - click here to register online.
